In December 1997 Sri Chinmoy visited Guatemala, where he was inspired to create more of his unique soul-bird drawings.
Altogether his collection now consists of over 15 million birds! I
was happy to be present when Sri Chinmoy decided to put some sheets of large coloured paper on the glass veranda of his hotel in Panajachel, and
started his art work. It was such an experience to see these
soul-birds spontaneously and instantly appearing out of nothing, each a little creature with a unique character. Watch this video and
