During a visit to China in late 2004 and early 2005, Sri Chinmoy created many unique paintings using traditional Chinese inks, brushes and rice paper. Each of these paintings had a theme reflecting some noble aspiration of humanity – for example Patience, Dignity, Tolerance – that was then translated into Bengali, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish on the side of the painting.  Camera and edit:  Mri- danga Spencer.
