Sri Chinmoy compares meditation with the mind and the heart in an answer to a journalist in Iguassu Falls, Brazil, 2000.

Excerpt from the interview:

“Some people meditate with their mind, and some with their heart. I prefer the way of the heart, because when we meditate with the mind it is very difficult, very, very difficult, because the mind has lots of worries and anxieties and other undivine qualities, whereas the heart is pure, the heart is simple, the heart is sincere. So when we meditate with the heart our progress is very, very quick.”
