Interviews with runners in the longest foot-race in the world, presented by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team

The longest race in the world can never be frozen in time, too much is happening within the runners themselves and on the course. One can try however to give people, who are unable to come and see for themselves, at least a little glimpse of the experiences the runners are having and what the day is like here in New York.

On this day, Sunday July 8th, the runners have already spent nearly a month here. Each has run more than a thousand miles. The heat of summer has now come and is unlikely to give the runners a break for the rest of their journeys.

On this day, Sunday June 24th, the runners have already spent a week here. The rhythms of their day to day routines are starting to fall in place. The weather has yet to become hot and the great bulk of their journey lays in front of them.
