Over the Christmas and New Year's holiday in 1996-97 Sri Chimoy was in Kumamoto and Kagoshima in Southern Japan, where he was invited to a Catholic school of 1000 children. They all greeted him with great enthusiasm and attended a piano performance in their auditorium.
