During his visit to Japan in July 2006 Sri Chinmoy gave a concert in front of the famous Buddha sculpture "Daibutsu" in Kamakura. His one-hour performance was highlighted by a powerful improvisation on a new Gong Sampler, specially built by two of his German students. At the end of the video his final meditation on the "Daibutsu" is included.
