On August 27 Sri Chinmoy celebrated his 74th birthday in New York. More than 1000 visitors from around the world witnessed a beautiful concert on the esraj, his most favorite Indian instrument. In a purple dhoti he fascinated the audience with 74 of his compositions. This video clip brings you the unique atmosphere of the concert with a selection of those songs, and also features some of his new artworks displayed during the birthday celebrations.
