In this video, Sri Chinmoy talks about his artistic creations, which he terms “Jharna-Kala” or ‘Fountain-art’. Sri Chinmoy explains his inspiration for painting and the source of his creative endeavours. Sri Chinmoy’s art has been displayed in galleries all over the world, such as the Carousel du Louvre in Paris and in distinguished buildings such as the United Nations Secretariat in New York and the parliament buildings of the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the Ukraine.
In this video Sri Chinmoy explains the spiritual basis of his own art:
“The supreme goal of art is self-discovery, or God-realisation, or life-perfection. Life-perfection is unconditional and constant surrender to God’s Will, the Will of the Supreme.”
