In this short video, Sri Chinmoy talks about the importance of love in the relationship between student and teacher. Sri Chinmoy explains how a student can rediscover his own divinity through the teacher’s genuine love for the student and the student’s genuine love for the teacher.

“… it is like father and son. They are united on the strength of love. … when the student has eagerness, the student and the teacher are all one, inseparably one. It is not something that we compel the students to learn. … we tell them that the wealth, the spirituality, the inner wealth is deep within them. A teacher is not giving something new to the student. A teacher, a spiritual teacher, only helps the student to bring to the fore his own divinity, his own inner wealth ……”
