Sri Chinmoy talks about how our genuine prayers and meditations for peace can have a transformative effect on the world. Towards the end of the footage is a brief video from Oslo 2001, where Sri Chinmoy visited to offer a week of peace activities, including offering an opening meditation at the Eternal Peace Flame by Oslo Harbour.

“The dividing and divided mind will never be able to enjoy even an iota of peace. It is the uniting and united heart that can and shall enjoy peace in immeasurable measure.” – Sri Chinmoy

Sri Chinmoy referred to himself as a ‘student of peace’ and he inspired many initiatives for peace and oneness amongst all peoples of the world. This includes the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, the world’s largest peace torch relay.
