More than a month has passed in the world’s longest foot race. It is now a hot July 17th morning and nearly all the runners have run more than 2000 miles over the past 37 days. A steady routine has developed for each but the battles are far from over, the cut off date of 51 days looms close. There will be no respite for any of them until they finally cross the finish line, just a 1000 miles away.
