In Vastness-Peace: Iceland Song-Tour

In July 2011 twelve singers from around the world visited Iceland to perform Sri Chinmoy’s songs on peace, harmony and Christ acapella in churches throughout the country. A recording of the singers is now available in a beautiful CD titled In Vastness-Peace.

Sri Chinmoy visited Iceland many times during his lifetime, offering concerts and meeting with leaders and parliamentarians. The singers first visited the church in the National Park of Thingvellir, which is around 50 km from Reykjavik. Then followed concerts in the churches of Þingvallakirkja, Strandarkirkja, Hallgrímskirkja, Borgarkirkja, Hellnakirkja, Möðruvallakirkja, Húsavíkurkirkja, Skútustaðakirkja and Fríkirkjan in Reykjavík.
